Absolutely awesome. Me, my 4 year old and 2 year old are making breakfast watching this right now....getting ready to go on the a mountain bike ride later today. My 2 year old rides on a kids ride shotgun and my 4 year old is already ripping trails. My daughter says "Daddy, I want to be like her!". I hope that comes true.

LOL. I'm not the only one who says "hello" to cows! :) Any chance you remember what the "lung vibrator" is? I have exercise induced asthma that seems triggered by smoky conditions or cold with hard exertion. Once I have an attack, the albuterol doesn't seem to help much and it takes a long time to recover and get the crap out of my lungs. The asthma only started after I turned 55 and I'm still trying to figure out how to manage it while on bikepacking trips. Great video, gorgeous views! Thanks! Mike

Hi Katie, I did a bit of research and found the AirPhysio Average Lung Device: Mucus Clearance & Lung Expansion Sports edition. Is that the one you use? Thanks again!

The actual name of the device is an "oscillating positive expiratory pressure device." My doctor prescribed the AerobiKA. Make sure you connect with your doctor about it! Mine helped me figure out the settings, when I need to use it, and gave me instructions for how to use it. It's only part of my asthma management - getting testing and treatment from a pulmonologist is one of the best investments I've made for my well-being.

@@dispersed.bikepacking awesome, thanks Katie! I’ll ask my doctor for a referral to a pulmonologist and see what they recommend. Had to bail from the Fitzgerald’s Joyride this year after two asthma attacks in two days. It was really smoky in places due to wildfires. Hope I can get this figured out!

nice work! why did you switch to single speed and what sort of sleep system did you have?
@dispersed.bikepacking2 жыл бұрын
I've been riding singlespeed since 2018! I like the style of riding and how meditative it is only having one gear. I carried an inflatable sleeping pad, 35 degree sleeping bag, lightweight bivy, and a tarp for my sleep system.

Great to see this, proper cross country riding, and a great achievement to do all those miles and climbs in 5 days, 5 hours. Utah is amazing, but if you think these canyons are the most beautiful places in the world you need to visit the Scottish Highlands.

I'll add it to the list!

Another epic adventure! Thanks for sharing! Epic scenery no doubt and quite the mixed terrain! Clearly it lived up to the name. Did you eat the full 1lb block of cheese in a day or two days?
