Bikepacking the White Rim with Our Parents!

You can do this as a 2-night-3-day ride, unsupported. There's water access at Potato Bottom. No catered beer or birthday cake though :(

You rode from Gooseberry to Mineral Bottom in one day? Yikes. Was the washout over? We had to turn around. And did you get a shuttle from Mineral Bottom to Shafer on the first day?

We didn’t run into any washout issues but had to keep an eye on river levels ahead of time. The river had been up for a while, but the worst of it came after our trip. We parked at the top of the Mineral Bottom switchbacks and rode from there.

@@dispersed.bikepacking We rode it the last week in May, and couldn't get trucks across around Potato Bottom. We knew it in advance, so we turned around at the slot canyon after Candlestick and headed back to Shafer.
