I have a question! To rank high in Pinterest do you need a high following or high number of pins?
@beardlong82354 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I liked your channel and how you explain Pinterest. But, I checked your profile and u had sth like 500,000 views which should be around 5,000-10,000 clicks per month which is not that perfect. Nothing against you, but if you have another bigger account you could share so that people trust you more. Stay safe

I see many of your pins use the number 6 in them. Why that number? I know people click more on numbered titles like “6 Top Tips”. Was just curious why you chose 6. Thank you for sharing.

Hy mam! Plz tell what dimensions you use for your Pinterest pins
@KatieGrazer4 жыл бұрын
Hey there, ok so the "official" guideline from Pinterest is that pins should have the dimension 2:3 (e.g. 1,000 x 1,500 pixels) - Check out this post. business.pinterest.com/en-gb/creative-best-practices Personally, I create a bit bigger pins because they take up more space in the feed. Something like 735 x 1400. But, this is risky because Pinterest sometimes cuts off too tall pins. If you want to play it safe go with 2:3 ;)

I've seen so many videos about these topics and I think you are the only one that delivers honest and valuable content, thank you so much, it'd be awesome if you post something about Pin Sales funnels, I have an online store and this topic is unexplored on KZbin. Thank you again, keep up the good work, greetings from Mexico.

Hey Octavio, Thank you so much for that. So happy to hear you're getting value out of my videos!!! I love that topic idea and have added it to my content plan! Pinterest can work so well for online stores and I agree there isn't enough information out there. I'll also have so much content planned specifically for e-commerce and online stores because I think Pinterest is totally underrated by shop owners! Greetings from Switzerland! :)

Hi Katie! This was great, thank you! One question...As a new blogger I started on Pinterest in August re-pinning others’ pins to my boards, but now will be focusing on my own fresh pins. Would you recommend deleting those older re-pins to “clean up” my boards? Thanks!
@KatieGrazer4 жыл бұрын
Hey Keri. Great question. No, I would not worry about the repins, you don't have to delete them. If you can continue focussing on your own content that's great. Repins aren't "bad" - it's just good to mainly focus on your own content as a business and content creator.

When you pin 15-25 pins per day, do you recommend to add the same website URL to all pins? Or would it be better to add different URLs to each pin?
@KatieGrazer4 жыл бұрын
ok, so I would always recommend to put an interval of at least 3 days between pins with the same image + URL. If have enough content to spread your pins.
@kair59024 жыл бұрын
@@KatieGrazer Yea, but what if I always post new images, but always with my website URL? In this case, would you also recommend an interval of three days or would it be okay to post every day so much content?

Do I need to placed AdSense or Amazon affiliated website at the time of account opening at Pinterest for verification ???

Hey Katie, how many pins should I be pinning each day if I am doing direct links to affiliate partners and not sending them to a blog first? I watched another of your videos and you mentioned 15 each day ..... is that a 2022 suggestion or has Pinterest made changes so the 15 is too high? I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly. Thank you for all your awesome content - it's the best out there.
@KatieGrazer2 жыл бұрын
Hey Eleanor, there isn't a perfect number of pins each day. It really depends on how much content you create. If you're only pinning affiliate links and none of your own content, I would be careful that you don't get flagged as spam. Even though Pinterest allows affiliate links, they want to see your unique content as well. Hope this makes sense. And thank you so so much for watching.

Hi Katie, Thank you for great advice. Thank you. I would like to know if you have multiple pins point to the same blog post. I mean if we have to create several fresh pins everyday, does that mean we have to create multiple contents as well. Many thanks.
@KatieGrazer3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sharon. The best thing you can do and what Pinterest ultimately wants is for you to create new content. Then for that new content, you make fresh pins. That's what Pinterest wants. But creating new content is a lot of work. So the next best thing is to create new pin images for older content.

Hi Katie! Your videos/blog have been SO helpful as I start my blog!! I just started using Tailwind and have a question. After I publish a new post, should I manually upload the first pin to my most relevant Pinterest board and then schedule the rest of the relevant boards in Tailwind? I have seen so many opinions so I'm not sure what to do. Also, when I have a fresh pin for that same blog post a few weeks later, should I also manually upload the first pin to Pinterest/schedule the rest? Thank you so much! xo
@KatieGrazer4 жыл бұрын
Hey KT, Thank you so much for your question. Yea there's always a debate going on between people about manual pinning vs scheduled pinning. But, I think it was just two weeks ago when Tailwind issued a statement that they got confirmation by Pinterest that pins which are pinned through a scheduler get distributed exactly the same as pins pinned manually. So that being said, I pin everything with Tailwind. But of course it's your choice :)

@brendat48294 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing. Kindly asking: When you repin from Tailwind Communities, does the pin go to your Tailwind Schedule Slot time? I have many Tailwind Communities and the requirement is 1:1 ratio, so when I share from the Tailwind Communities, it goes straight to my schedule to a point where I have 800 pins on my Tailwind Schedule and "My Own Pins are now thinly spread" How do you manage yours? ... thanks for sharing and looking forward to your answer.
@KatieGrazer4 жыл бұрын
Hey Jenny. It's really up to you how much you want to share with communities and then have to re-pin other people's content. For me, I can see that Tailwind Communities do work and bring in a lot of traffic (You can check it in Google Analytics) so I do share my best pins with the Community. But I do it sparingly so I don't have to repin a ton of other people's content. I hope this makes sense.

As I mentioned on one of your other vids on the subject ... Tailwind obviously does not post to sections within the boards which makes it extremely annoying... and I cant find anyone who talks about this issue
@KatieGrazer3 жыл бұрын
So sections on Pinterest are helpful for you to organize but are not relevant for the algorithm as of now. So personally I would not worry. However, you can always write Tailwind and let them know your feedback.
