EXPERIMENTING WITH TRADER JOE'S FOODS TASTE TEST

We froze the Asiago Garlic Cheese Dip and reheated it to see if it was good so you don't have to. We also tried the NEW Wicked Good chocolate candy bars for Halloween, butternut squash and caramelized onion tart, a couple Oktoberfest beers, guacasalsa and a cheap-o wine that was pretty good!

I'm so glad to know that the dip can be frozen!! I was thinking it would make for great snacking/appetizer in Thanksgiving to eat on before the big dinner for those of us who eat about 4-5ish!! Same for Christmas Eve or day also!

I'm one of those people who LOVES black licorice! Good N Plenty, black jelly beans, straight up licorice, I love it all. Worst are tootsie rolls or smarties.

Thanks for trying that cheese dip frozen and for the tips! Can't wait to get a few for the holiday season, especially for our New Years Eve mocktail party. My new favorite chocolat bar is anything by Tony's Chocolonly. They are on the pricier side because it's a fair trade and ethical brand of chocolate, but they are also big bars of chocolate, and the quality is top notch. Every bar I've tried has been amazing. My other favorite candy are the spooky bats and cats from TJs and candy corn. My least favorite candy is licorice of any kind.

Oh thank you for testing the garlic cheese dip frozen. I'll definitely try and pick up a couple. My favorite candy to get was a kit kat bar or twix, my least favorite was those sugar daddy's. Anyone remember those, on a stick like a popsicle but it's hard taffy, sticks to your teeth. I think carmel flavor.

Everything in this video sounds so good! My favorite Halloween candy is probably Baby Ruth, and least favorite is definitely Reese's Pieces. Also as a 100 Grand lover, I'll throw out that I actually really enjoyed the caramel wafer candy bar from the Trader Joe's variety candy bag!

I'm definitely curious to try the TJ's candy bars. My favorite Halloween candy is Reese's peanut butter cups and any other variation of Reese's. I like a salty sweet combo. Least favorite? Necco Wafers, which are basically compressed dust. I also really hate Circus Peanuts! But black licorice is DELICIOUS.

OMG! So glad the dip can be frozen! It is Football season here and the Bills are playing and in Buffalo with the Bills Mafia there is always a party. So this is perfect!!!! Great choice!😊 My favorite candy is Sprouts Red Licorice bites. They remind me of the licorice I had as a child. My favorite candy bar is Snickers. That was a great taste test! When I was a kid, I was very strange because I had gourmet candy tastes LOL my favorites back then were those ice cube little chocolate squares that were really melty buttery chocolate and also the toffifay don't know if you remember those but they came in gold tray and I just love them, always ask my mom for candy like that LOL my least favorite back then that was also a chocolate candy called malt balls chocolate malt balls I think those ones that were really crunchy on the inside, I hated the texture of those! I wanted my chocolate smooth and creamy, I was lifestyles of the Rich and famous I guess LOL

Love the shirts! I’m going to order Tim’s shirt in sweatshirt for me! My favorite candies are 1000 grand bar that were called 100 thousand dollar bars when I was growing up . My favorite as a kid were the marathon bars that my second grade teacher used to give us for getting 100% on our spelling test! I also love all kinds of licorice , dots and I love good and plenty! The candy I can’t stand are circus peanuts (which my husband loves) , bit o honey ( which my mom loves) and also candy corn.

This was such fun taste test! I'm thrilled to know the cheese dip can be frozen; definitely going to pick up a few. And that tart! I was surprised at the price too, but I might have to try it. I think it would be good with a yummy fall soup. It's hard to pick a favorite Halloween candy! I'd have to say Almond Joy with Kit Kats being a close second (but I love the Fast Break too, Tim 😀). My favorite candy has changed since I was a kid. When I was a kid, I loved Milky Way and Nerds. Now it's Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and York Peppermint Patties. As a kid, I hated to get boxes of raisins in my trick-or-treat bag. Yuck! I also didn't care for the wrapped hard butterscotch candies (Brach's I think it was), which occasionally showed up in my Halloween bag.

100 grand is my favorite candy bar so I'm really looking forward to buying that candy bar pack. Whatchamacalit is my second favorite candy bar. For trick or treating, I hate to get black liquorice, candy corn, circus peanuts, red hots, chocolate tootsie rolls, any candy bar with coconut and the jelly belly combo pack with the vomit flavors. My favorites are haribo gold gummy bears, skittles, nerds, starbursts, baby ruths and fruit flavored tootsie rolls.

I don't eat things with corn syrup or glucose syrup because it triggers my migraines. (Btw Katie when I cut it out my migraines decreased by about 80%) So Reese's PC is my favorite by default, because most of the other candies have corn syrup. I also love Skor bars although I've never seen that passed out at Halloween. My least favorite is anything green apple 😝
