Loved this video! Your "my physical books" notion page had me drooling. Right now I only record title, author, and date finished. I'm currently reading Malcolm X's autobiography, and after that, I'm reading the Arkady Martine duology A Memory Called Empire and A Desolation Called Peace. I occasionally go ham and map out my next several reads - like right now I have my next 30 books lined up, but I don't put a time limit on myself since I want reading to just remain this fun thing I do every day. (I have an obsessive personality, so I WILL pressure myself to get to every single book if I had a monthly tbr. Instead my tbr timeframe is "sometime before you die." 🤪)

I really enjoyed this video! I like this format a lot. I just finished Empire of Storms. It does have a few boring pages that seem to go on and on but I ended up pretty much enjoying it. I'm taking a break from the series because I feel like I'm missing out on other books and I'm doing some professional development work that is taking a lot of my reading time. I'm also reading a manuscript for a friend. I'm looking forward to spooky reading in the near future. That looked like such fun last year and I only got in on it a little. ETA: I enjoy Sarah J. Maas a lot but someone should buy her a thesaurus! She coins lovely phrases but then uses them over and over and it aggravates me to no end and brings me out of the story.

Please go for the audiobooks for good girls guide to murder series. They are sooo good and they have interviews and everything...with different narrators. And you'll be able to finish the whole series in August cause they ARE good..

I love monthly reset videos they always make me feel productive with getting my monthly reading journal done for the next month and cleaning my living room while watching. My August tbr is very ambitious but I would like to read A Court of Mist and Fury, Good Girl, Bad Blood, As Good As Dead, Nettle & Bone, The Naturals, What Lies In The Woods, and finish reading Beach Read. My manga that I have to read at the moment are Solo Leveling 1 & 2, Yona of the Dawn 15, 16, & 17, Accomplishments of the duke’s daughter 1 & 2, and The King's Beast Volume 10. Hope you have a great reading month!

Oh I felt that battery issue way to much I just got a new car ( new to me) and not even a month later it started having random issues so I spent all morning yesterday getting it diagnosed just to find out the battery was bad and needed replaced

I really liked this video, very cozy! When you read Empire of Storms, you may enjoy tandem reading Tower of Dawn. Something INSANE happens at the end of Empire of Storms and I did not want to read Tower of Dawn. They are both in the same timeline as well. I really hope you enjoy the rest of the Throne of Glass books, Kingdom of Ash is my favorite. I cried several times.
