Plant care secret: DO NOT overwater! Touch the soil, if it’s damp, DO NOT water! Don’t let the plant get bone dry and wilt, but really watch how much you water. My Pothos plants can go weeks without me watering them and they are gorgeous! If you overwater Ivy, it will die.

if you already have pothos or basically any philodendron you can propagate them in water and make some more plants 😊 its so much better for your wallet 😂

Katie, for Anne of Green Gables, if you can find the '80s TV version with Megan Fellows as Anne - I loved that show SO much as a teenager of the 1980s & Fellows makes an excellent Anne Shirley!

Just a little comment from a planty person: Ivy is really hard to take care of and very(!) toxic to cats. I'm worried for your furry friends if the plant is in there reach. As for peperomia, there is one that looks a bit like ivy. It's called "peperomia scandens" it's pet friendly and fairly easy to take care of (:

I don´t know how you feel about fairy tale retellings like Heartless, but I do recommend reading the Lunar Chronicles (sci-fi retelling of Cindrella (Cinder), Red Riding Hood (Scarlet), Rapunzel (Cress) and Snow white (Winter)) and the Gilded Duology (medieval setting and a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin) all by Marissa Meyer. Her books really got me back into reading and especially Cursed (second book in the Gilded Duology) made me go through all stages of grief and back. She's absolutely one of my favourite writers, even though I must admit it sometimes takes almost all of the first book to actually get something going on.

You should propagate the pothos you already have in the future! They grow pretty quickly too so you'll be able to plant them relatively soon. Save money and keep it in the fam. 🤭🫶🏽

Anne of Green Cables is such a wintery vibe for me, mainly because I loved cosying up on my bed with a hot chocolate, a blanket and a teddy in my teens to read the series. I never made it past the third book though, so I think now that I am older I will give it another go! Hope you enjoy it!
