I don't see any replies from her and wondering if anyone knows of a way to contact her for questions. Or if you do read this, Katie....I love your style! You're very talented and appreciate your sharing your talent and inspiring beginner artists like myself. I had a question about whether or not you are able to zoom in from time to time. Particularly for details. Thanks!!! Amy from Texas

This is so beautiful. You are such a wonderful artist and instructor. It's so nice watching your techniques. How do you keep your acrylics from drying out? Mine, whether the fluids, or from the tubes, dry so fast, even when using a flow medium. Thanks!

Once again, you've created an amazing piece. I so want to try acrylic painting, but I'm afraid. I don't know what colors to mix. I don't know how to look at a reference picture and chose the paints to start with. Maybe you could do a very in depth tutorial on choosing and mixing paint colors. You could also live stream...just a couple of thoughts. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials.

Your selection of colors(and accuracy of them) is outstanding, as is your impressionistic( but realistic feel) when you painted this. So pretty. I actually hiked up to a fall on Kauai and recall the emerald green water. I think I will give it a go, but simplify mine a little because I am not as advanced a painter (beginner) as you. I think this painting is for intermediate level correct?

It would have probably been easier for you to just gesso the painting you didn't like, if only because you can sand that surface down and have a nice, smooth, absorbant layer.
@KatieJobling6 жыл бұрын
Acrylic paint was underneath, so I wouldn't be able to sand it. Thanks though!
@wyrmoffastring6 жыл бұрын
You would. I've done it more than once, you just need to apply a proper amount of gesso.
