Thank you, Katie! That gave me ideas for future. Never tried watercolours before (except foe school years), was sticking to oils and acrylics on canvases. But sometimes we all want to do something just for the sake of exploring, guess, now I know what to do!) thanks again

This is lovely, Katie; I don't know why I've never seen it before now, but I love it. I wonder if this little guy knew he was about to be world-famous when his photo was taken? LOL. Angela Anderson chose him from Pixabay to do an acrylic painting too, you should take a look. He's just so v cute, isn't he?

Hi Katie. In this tutorial you are using tubes, which seems to be an exception to most of your watercolor tutorials. Do you have a preference?
@KatieJobling7 жыл бұрын
If I want to mix my own colours for something to be more lifelike, I like the tubes because they're easier to mix and they don't wear out your brushes as much :)

If you dip your brush in dish soap first, that coats the hairs and makes it easier to remove the masking fluid. Just do it once before you begin to mask.

Beautifully done! Heat on the salt and masking fluid would be a big no-no. Not a good idea ... It would pay to be patient.

I just saw a video that paints almost the same picture using acrylics. I think she should have at least mentioned your name, since it looks like she used your painting as a reference. Check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJnNY6pthZiHb80
@mercury76567 жыл бұрын
Grace Griffin she painted a reference photo she found on a stock photo website so the painting that was made by the other user was also a painting of the stock photo and does not belong to the other user
