So many scam accounts claiming to want to help your channel, or be interested in designing a banner for you. Easy place to be a creep and a scammer. No-one knows who you are, if you're pre-debut or a vtweeter you can just keep changing accounts if you get called out, many vulnerable people. Lots of lonely and/or disabled /mentally ill people in Vtubing, my guess is that a majority of Vtubers were or are in some way social outcasts. Not necessarily because they are weird or messed up, but because it's a bit of a niche hobby and interest. Lots of Vtubers are also at the age where you would have been bullied in school if they found out you liked anime. So my guess is that scammers and creeps found it to be an easy market, or perhaps actually like Vtubing but are just creepy people as well.

People can be weird af. But I just don't get why certain people dragged it on while being uncomfortable with their behavior. DONT LET IT GET THAT FAR. After the first gross message that should have been it. I've been through this stuff too. When I was a damn teenager. Get off the internet and make some irl friends and relationships. Also minors shouldn't be on the internet for reasons like this. Trust NO ONE on the internet. Stranger danger 101. 😅

Free art isn't that bad to ask for, if you take no for an answer. I do always ask "do you take requests?" And if they say no, then i accept that. I just don't have the means to afford commissions right now and it doesn't hurt to try. It's when people keep pushing for free art that i think "They said no. Why do you keep pushing?"
