I kept looking for you as I flew out of DFW on Sunday. 😂My journey was, let's just say, unforgettable. (These are just the highlights of a lowlight trip!) A slight delay in boarding due to the incoming flight. Then we board and taxi and are informed that we're grounded due to lightning. After sitting for a while, we were told our pilots had timed out and we had to go back to the gate. Back we go, new pilots, pre-flight check, no manifest, wait, manifest comes back, away we go. Now we're in line with 22 other planes and about 8:30 pm they tell us they're letting one plane takeoff every 5 minutes. The flight attendants had served us water and granola bars during all of this so now we're informed that we're out of water and can't fly until we get more. 😳 Since you can't just get out of line in a 737, we were out there probably another hour or more before we could go back to the gate. By this time, we also need more fuel. Then, our flight attendants timed out so we had to wait for a new FA crew. Really? They let us off the plane around 11:15 -11:30 because we had been held captive too long. Board again around midnight and off we go to St Louis. Unfortunately, it was the worst flight I've ever been on. I feel like there was turbulence the whole flight. And we didn't get served any of the water we had to go back for! 🤦

Heathrow Express to the Tube station.... The Piccadilly Line calls at Heathrow terminals 2,3,4 and 5 and is a direct link into the centre of London. Please just look up the TfL Tube map - all the circle stations are where you can change from one line to another. Also, I can recommend getting an A-Z map (which has a Tube map included) to help you navigate at street level. Yes, phones are great but seriously, having a paper map is good.

I still have the TfL Go app on my phone from my London stay 2 years ago. Huge help! Learned how to identify which stations didn't have lifts - of course, I stayed by the Kensington High Street station, which doesn't have a lift! Learned my lesson for next time.

Enjoy your watching you, you are always so up beat and positive in everything you do. My question is…..has there ever been a time that you were in flight, that you feared the safety of your passengers and the flight crew? I have such a fear of flying that I have to take and Xanax to get on a plane. My eyes are fixed on the flight crew, if you all look rattled I have anxiety, big time. I live in southwestern PA, to fly to visit my sister in Myrtle Beach, I can fly there without taking a Xanax. But anywhere else got to take a Xanax. If I flew to the UK I would definitely need an IV just to get there. I admire you for all that you do, and you are an inspiration to me. God bless you.

That really stinks you weren’t able to get ready until 3. When i’m in predicaments like this…. I use babywipes & then get ready in the bathroom. Then, later that night take a full relaxing shower. I know you probably wouldn’t have been able to spend that long in the bathroom so it was just a tricky situation all around.
