One of the biggest N scale layouts I have seen. A lot of track there.

Thanks. I'm still enjoying my latest changes also. Going to prep a new video this weekend about my track plan in closer detail

Hey do you have any Auto Rack Train Cars to your collection if you have any for that matter
@NitroStarGT Жыл бұрын
I do not have any auto rack freight yet. I'm not sure I will get any according to my industry plans. I do have long passenger cars in the "City of Los Angeles" passenger set. They run super smooth on the layout

Was your round house for the engines in a single kit or was it several 3 stall kits put together and who was the manufacturer thanks looks like its going to be a bad ass lay out 👍
@NitroStarGT Жыл бұрын
All Kato brand turntable parts: Turntable 20-283. The Round houses are 3 stall sections, so this is 4 roundhouses part number 23-240. The round houses come with a "pit" track section in each stall. I used several 20-285 track extension sets and 20-284 feeder kits to power all the extension tracks. I do NOT power the turntable as usual using DCC. I let each track section power the middle turntable track. This way, I do not need an auto reverser using this method. Here is more info www.sbs4dcc.com/tutorialstipstricks/katoturntabledcccontrol.html. I do have a video of how I worked it and a demonstration on my channel also. Thanks for asking. Ask anything else if you don't fully understand. My setup is very simple though. Notice I do not have any opposing tracks, even with the entry track. The only thing you have to do then is use insulated joiners on one side of the powered extensions

Wow that's awesome, so beautiful, I am a newbie and loving it. What are those blue and white called, these are my favorite cars along with car carriers
@NitroStarGT10 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! The blue and white ones are Kato well cars that come with doublestack containers. (Intermodel frieght cars). They come in a 3 car set. They have to run as a 3 car set also.

Can you make a track plan blueprint of your layout?
@NitroStarGT5 ай бұрын
Check out my update #15. I have the SCARM file uploaded for all to see. You can use the free version to view the layout and pieces used. I have made some changes to that exact plan but I have mentioned most of them in later videos. I wished it was easier to share a new version of the SCARM file
