She’s a product of amateur singing competitions in the Philippines... No formal training or having a professional voice coach... Same as Regine Velasquez, Charize Pempengco and many more Filipino singers... You can find old vids of her performing in those competitions in KZbin... She started at a very young age some says when she was 6 years old... She stopped school at 8th grade as she can’t both go to school as well as compete which support her education as well as financially help her family... Philippines is predominantly Roman Catholic and almost all villages, towns, and cities celebrate a Saints feast day... a singing competition is usually a part of that celebration... One or more competition is held in the country daily... You can make a living out of it if your good or by being a facilitator... Provide the singers for such competition or providing the singers the schedule and facilitating their entry... now you know one of the secrets why Philippines produce a prodigious amount of phenomenal vocalists...😊. The band needs to turn down their instruments down. I cant last listening to the loudness of the instruments. Too damn loud would have been good to listen. But the band is like competing with katrinas voice, they need to fricking turn their instruments volume down. I want to hear katrinas belting.
