A cornered narcissist, I recognise it from my brother who has tendencies. Not full on , he could love people, actually more than most. The inability to ever admit fault or failure or accept any criticism which was mostly imagined as he's actually quite an impressive person.

@@direnova6284 another diagnoser, so cringe. Brother has traits, huh? I’m proud of you for coming to such an educated conclusion - I’m sure it’s not bias. I’m sure you perfectly summed up the situation. I wonder if your brother is in random KZbin comment sections, chatting about you and diagnosing you with traits… it would be very easy. For example, the way you overshared personal information, unasked for, is a sign of borderline personality disorder. You have traits 😮

@@lisah9561 It's totally anonymous you tit. He was diagnosed by a Doctor 20 yrs ago and I was giving an example that there are levels of narcissism. A true narcissist is a sociopath but you can have tendencies without being that bad. @@lisah9561 i find what you are saying interesting. I clicked on this comment to find out what they meant by narcissist. I felt a little redemption when the second person mentioned that narcissists cant admit fault. Its something i try to actively work on as a self diagnosed narcissist. But now that youre saying this, is our society eating itself up with all of these exagerrated accusations of eachother? Have i been convinced by my family that i am a narcissist and am actually not?

Carlos would probably have been paroled from comedy prison a long time ago if he had just set aside his ego and genuinely apologized to everyone he wronged. Worse than death. Not to a certain type. That is the cardinal principle in all narcissists. It’s worse than not existing. It’s like the world itself rises up to betray them. It’s like worse than dying. It’s like being cast out of creation. yeah i remember seeing this when it came out. i was astonished at how this guy just sitting there blatantly jumping over the main issue by putting all attention on a completely different subject and I am pretty sure that Carlos knows that they know what hes doing amd still doing it anyway. That was absolutely unbelievable. like, i think Carlos might have some serious psychological issues because this is absolutely bizarre behavior.

You're right he appears to have heavy mental issues, as do most narcissists. There are different levels of it for sure, but when it comes to avoiding responsibility people like Ned are *incapable of doing so. Partly because of their ego and everything that depends on such lies. The other part is at this level these people re-write history in real time. Alot of people do something similar by retelling a story and slowly changing it over time (when you recall a memory and explore it, the memory gets re-written). The Neds of the world don't even record the real events so their only memory is the fictitious one they hide behind to be able to present themselves (often to just themselves) as good people. That's kind of the crux of it is that 99.9% of what they do is to present themselves as a good person. They just refuse to change anything about their behavior and instead rely completely on telling lies (most importantly to themselves) to deflect guilt & shame. In the end they don't have the *ability to admit their wrongs because they have a memory of an altered reality, one that only includes them being righteous. Also their entire life is riddled with defending their lies, they have a lot of experience doing so. They get confronted on a semi-regular basis and know that they can exhaust most people if they just refuse to back down. Then they record the event as another win which strengthens their pov.

The original video of Carlos getting caught and Joe Rogan confronting him, shows Bobby Lee being asked by Joe about the joke stealing and Bobby admits that Carlos has stolen his jokes too, until he realises he is being recorded.

If him telling those jokes looses him millions what does he think the victims have lost by not telling their million dollar jokes....

Most of them were stolen from established comedians. So much of success in comedy is luck. Sadly many talented comics never make it and a lot of hacks steal jokes and never suffer from it. Meanwhile Brendan Schaub has multiple specials and sells out rooms 🤮

Bobby Lee and Patrick David practically took Ned by the hand and told him how to get past this. He wasn't cancelled, he was exposed

The Ari joke couldve easily been a coincidence. You know how many people probably made the same joke in their living room

Making (badly veiled) threats to Joe Rogan is wilder than stealing jokes, I'm surprised Bobby didn't at least sound him out before the podcast to see what way he was going to go.
