The addition of the flex floss adds a nice trigger to that Kaufmann. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite fly! Great pattern!

Thanks Carl. I normally tie and fish my hot spot Stone for myself. I like it because it’s a quick tie and catches fish. But, I really like the bugginess and movement from the legs that this pattern has. I definitely have some of these in my box now.

That’s a really nice fly. And don’t worry about talking too much - I learn so much from you. THANKS!

I want the videos to be more about the fly than the tier. However I like to add a little history and stuff to the video. I like this format it seems to work but I also don’t want a 20 minute video on a 2 minute fly. Those videos bore me. I’m a busy guy and don’t have time for that.

I like this version of a brown stone. For some reason this past year I tend to use rubber legs instead I of di cast legs because of movement.

I usually just tie the pats rubber leg. I tie mine with a 4.0 inverting bead and on a hanak 900

They work great but a lot of guys, me included, like to tie more imitative patterns. I know though that you’re style of fishing is more euro and you don’t want flies your afraid of losing.

@@HolsingersFlyShop you got that right. It’s more suggestive more than anything but I think I spend at most maybe 6 mins tying stones because I know I will loose them
