This is like an upgraded version, with all the izzyness in it. Heck man you are the embodiment of the legend himself. I haven't really lost any person in my life but went through a rough childhood where my parents divorced early, i was hated for pretty much no reason, had really bad asthma and pollen allergy, IBS, bone and muscle weakness, and became frail and bullied, but then one day when i was about 18, i moved to another city and started all over, lived up to my lost years and grew as a person. Then i moved back, focused on health, went to gym for a few years and made plenty of gains, got a decent job, the sweetest girlfriend, i have my family around me and life is finally feeling like it's worth living. The childhood left me scarred badly with not much will to strive, and still to this day im left overly self critical. But somehow through crazy chain of events, self discipline, mental fortitude, and most importantly, not giving up at the worst moments, i managed to get into this place which i call happiness. This song touches me on a very deep level, as it has that optimistic vibe in a grey moment, just like my happiness was back then, merely graspable. Also there's something about IZ, rarely a person who i have never met makes me feel so strongly towards them. I'm sure he is smiling down from that rainbow, and he is really proud of your cover.
