It is indeed painful to see the way Kaushiki always overshadows her husband. He is hardly allowed to sing. I was eagerly waiting to hear a few lines from Parthasarathi since we don't get to hear him perform. But there is a mean politics as if to make people forget that Partha is an accomplished singer. We still hear his 2010 performances on KZbin and regret the loss of a great singer. Kaushiki is everywhere. Is it so hard to be generous and should there be insecurities!! The world has space enough for all.

Parthasariji, please post more of your recordings on the youtube. Female voices are sweet, but somhow personally feel male voices have an edge in spirituality. The taseer is more touching. So please take the initiative to expand you fan following. Your body language, tone of speech, face and entire physical expression communicate humility, respect and a sense of equality to others. Your demeanour does not reflect arrogance or haughtiness which will God willing multiply your fan following. Please do post khayal, thumri, ghazals as you sing normally without excessive harkats, which is very pleasing. GOD BLESS YOU...

Exactly, can't we form a Desikan fan club and insist organizers to arrange his public performances, I feel Desikanji is one of those rare performers who besides their grammatical expertise pour soul to his singing and thus communicate to our soul directly, It is very strange a promising singer of his talent is not performing for almost more than 10 yrs, we hardly find his performances in KZbin, I apologize if there is any real cause for his not performing, I shall be disheartened but still have the maturity if the cause is physical, I am querying everywhere with out any success, I apologize again if possible plz give little hints, I again acclaim that I am a big big fan of his soulful singing.

People are commenting some absolutely rubbish stuffs! We can all feel that a singer like Partha sarathi Desikan doesn't get the proper evaluation of his talent and the limelight he deserves. That's sad of course but blaming Kaushiki for this is absolutely nonsense! I just came across comments hinting that he has been suppressed desparately by his wife and father in law! Come on guys, no need to think so much! What if the picture is completely different? Maybe he just doesn't want to perform much on camera, maybe it just got out of Kaushiki's mind at that moment that she should request him to sing a bit too! What's the use of complicating things so much? Like, which man who's been "captivated in home", intentionally overshadowed and deprived of whatever he deserves, would sit comfortably with the same person doing that and record videos with her? 😑 Although I too have heard about some random scandles about "HIM" being involved in some music related politics but that doesn't mean he'll do that to his own wife and son in law too!😑 Building up stories always feels spicy and it seems that it's still the favourite pastime for many! 🙂
