I have the exact same job to do this week. Such an incredibly helpful video. Thank you.

No I don't think so, I used their charger for this one, I do however have a universal one Ed. I use it all the time, very handy! Thanks for commenting!

Excellent video, fixed my problem.... HOWEVER now after completing the project I can't get the screen to come on... did I accidently disconnect it? the computer seems to be getting power as the orange light comes on

I did not repair it, I just placed it back where it should go, the keyboard would need to be replaced on this one for a full repair. Thanks for commenting!

What were you pushing to release and reattach the cables? I can't seem to get the cables to all the way back into place. Also, the power jack did not seem to sit flush with the inside of the plastic case when I put it in place. I just want to confirm that this was normal. There appeared to be a little metal attached to the case that prevented it from sitting flush intentionally. No power to the laptop after the repair. I'm assuming because the cables are not completely reattached correctly.

Very good video. Was looking at the very same problem on this very same that very same netbook. If you were to rate the difficulty in this project what would you rate it at? Those black sticks you were using where did you get those from?

Very good video. The issue you had with keyboard: there is a clip at the very to of the KB above the F8. push it in and boom. you won't have any issues!

Probably you should show more about those cables & connectors, how to release them, they can be a little troublesome. Anyway thanks for th great video, i'm no expert but used to manage a repair shop and often helped my laptop tech put them back together.

Would the plug be able to fit in there if it were loose or would it be too dangerous?

Hi Brian. This is the 2nd video of yours I've watched. Your videos are very well done, and I never lost interest. I also love the fact that because your head is always cut off, you absolutely remind me of a friend of mine! Just a little side note. I do have a question tho...I have an issue with a power jack as well. Can some other adhesive or glue be used or does it have to be the epoxy?

after glaceing the power jack and did reassembly the power light did not turn on what went wrong.

If the video would have zoom in a little closer to the action it would have been a perfect video.

Hello I have a question for you, maybe you'll know. Can I replace a netbook processor GATEWAY LT2016U (KAV60) more powerful? If so what processor models fit? Thanks in advance! Regards Denis Kiriakov.
