Good video. My Acer's fan has been defunct for a year now and I've had to use a cooling pad for a while now. But just today my mom found an acer of the same model with a busted screen and missing battery up above the linen closet. I just took that one apart with the help of your video, and I'm going to take this one apart and replace the fan.

You are right. Better is plastic tools for this kind of job. But my knife for me is a universal tool. Thank you!

I bought an "Acer Aspire one KAV60" (color red) - to my sister .... about the RAM it has 1 slot and was upgraded from to 1GB to 2GB - about the OS, it has currently Linux Peppermint 32 bits based on Debian 11 .... now the dmidecode command indicates it can support until up 4GB - Pls, let me know if you have some kind of confirmation if it really supports 4GB as maximum. Thanks in advance

Hey, I can't confirm neither deny. I would do more research and maybe find a way to test with the 4gb memory chip.

Yo sugiero usar desarmado de cruz manual ,se corre el riesgo de "barrer" los tornillos con uno automático, además de usar una cuña plástica o uña de guitarra para botar la tapa en vez de esa navaja. Buen video

I don't think it is necessary to make this type of videos, because you will be able to see how it was before just by scrolling back this video. Plus I strongly recommend you to take notes where everything (screws, etc.) coming from. Make some kind of "map" in a A4 paper and take a few pictures on your camera and everything will be fine. Use anti-static wristband, don't use some synthetic clothes.

pretty obvious that you disassemble that model for the first time.You are using knife that tends to scracth it..suppose of using plastic like guitar pick to avoid scratches..
@lutherwilliams957911 жыл бұрын
He uses a Knife because a Guitar Pick is too damn flimsy. If you use a heavier pick it won't get between the spaces needed
@regazzz11 жыл бұрын
Luther Williams you are so much correct!!! I tried so many plastic tools - I just can't trust any of them anymore. Maybe to open one laptop it will be enough, but after two or three it is a garbage.
