Nishagandhi Festival is the annual dance and music festival held at Kanakakkunnu Palace in Thiruvananthapuram. Organised by Kerala Tourism, the festival is a celebration of Indian classical dance and music. Bharatanatyam is one of the eight classical dances in India.

What she presented looked like a fight and persuasion between two lovers or friends. There's a lot of differences between the two - 'acting like' and 'becoming' 2 characters, here this song is referring to a mom and a kid. In some places she danced like a step mom and not the real mom who wanted to pamper her son. Don't know if she really meant that Yashodha was Kannan's foster mom.
