It is not considered a real acoustic action because there is not really the same piece as on a piano, it is more an imitation with weights, but there is no hammer, and there is not the whole mega complex system

Just electronics parts, friend. Because of that is not hybrid, just only digital, as simple as that. I think is the best digital today. But hybrid is another history...

Yes, he is right. Grand feel is like feeling like, feels like a grand. The NV5 a Hybrid is built with a real action of an upright. It has hammers that hit the sound sensors - touchless.

You have to got to the NV5 for the same piano in a true hybrid with an actual upright mechanical action. The action is wonderful on the CA99 and honestly I could not justify an extra $3000 for the NV5. For most of us price is a factor. This is a wonderful digital piano value in it's tier.

What about the"white" noise? Is it from the recording or the original sampling in the piano?

I have a white noise coming from the speakers of my CA79, too! It sounds like the speakers can not process the frequency or dynamic somehow, especially playing fortissimo... quite a bummer.

I can hear the noise on my laptop speakers also. I think it's just a bad recording, unfortunately.

Hi, can you change the ADSR on some of the sounds? For example the strings and pads?

Hello, no, the CA99 doesn't have a ADSR DCA envelope funktion. However you can adjust the dynamic response of a layered sound by using the Dynamic function and so match a string sound to a piano sound in a very musical way. The various String sounds have different attack settings as preset and you may find a nice one anyhow.
