Also note that using Acetone on ABS is a no-no. Acetone is a solvent for ABS and will make it soft.

Good job, man! Can't wait to se the project in the final phase! I watched all the episodes last night until 5 AM. My wife asked me in the morning (it was noo when I woke-up, but who cares) what time did I came into bed. I lied and told her it was no late than 3 AM. F....ing liar :D.

+Pony Power , I intend to buy a 1997 ER5 this month, can't wait to get some money (I have about 50% of the amount this moment). The winter is harsh in my country (Romania), couldn't go to see it, but hope the owner did not sold it. Have you been working on your bike? I want to see more videos, if you have any. Is that lacquer resistant to petrol? (Would be nice to see a test of it on a spare bit of material with a bit of petrol).

I've been thinking of doing this, its says it is but the MSDS sheet says that it has acetone in it as its main solvent, and ususally that means that petrol will have her evil way with it. Test coming up soon - matt

yep i realised the depth of my dumbs statement as soon as i said it,nevertheless loving the colour combo and some very handy tips with regards to the better paint products to use, cheers
