You'll need to smear a jar of copper grease on that axle for next time mate, make it super, super slippy.

I'm still trying to remove the rear axle Honda Rebel R reg........seized like yours, drum brake....notice you just hammered it, I've tried the hammer routine but no success so far. I wondered if you had any more options....Roy

ROY Dean Try some Plus Gas (its like WD40 but works) really soak it in. When you whack it try placing a hammer against the other side when striking. Also turn the shaft with a socket, 2 people make this much easier. Hope this helps oh and try not to damage the threads if possible. I had to replace my axle. - matt

I bought a 600mm Breaker Bar and some 1/2" drive Impact Drive sockets...17mm and it turned, so I wacked it and I have an inch showing...the axle bolt hasn't much of a head....looking good.......Thanks Matt

Seeing all that corrosion, I would spray WD40 or an equivalent on all bolts, nuts or whatever I'd have to get loose. Which is about everything, in this case. I notice you did not do that. Do you think it's not necessairy? I fuckin hate stuck bolts and do whatever it takes to avoid them.

Penetration fluid has to be used in the correct way, I'll do a video about it. But I only broke oe bolt and not even jesus would have worked that little bastard out
