So glad after many different bikes over the years I just now bought an ER5. Now I can watch your vids and do everything on my bike aswell. Would've have never thought about piston ring positioning without you mentioning it. Looking forward to the new engine stuff.

No worries and thanks for the comment. Future videos will pretty much include the other parts that usually fail, like the entire electrical system, shocks, brakes and so on. This bike is the channel bike, so I can simulate fault and so on. I can then show people the symptoms and then show how to fault find and track them down. oh and obviously how to sort it out. - matt

The first question is why? Have you had a 2 stroke before this bike?

I used to have a 2stroke scooter as teenager.I am looking for a way to increase the power of the engine.Also,can you show us how you painted the engine frame?Thanks for the response Mat!
