Clicked on the video and liked it within 10 seconds. I love how genuine it feels. I just bought a '19 ninja 400 almost 2 months ago. Having never ridden a motorcycle, I felt like I was never going to get used to it. Thanks to videos like yours, I've gone from putting around granny shifting to redline pulls, rev matching and plenty of other mechanics that I never thought I would get to the level of. I will say, the power to me now is a little bit lacking, but I'm pretty sure I'm just the definition of a squid. I had a run-in with a hellcat today and I uhhh want a 600 lmao. Great video. Keep being real

So excited for you, that bike is definitely an awesome bike to learn on and getting use to the power it has does come quickly. But it has plenty of power to enjoy for a very long time. Keep learning and stay safe. Feel free to shoot me some pics of you bike on my Instagram.

My out the door price new was $4500. It is worth more today, two years later. Same bike, 2018 Black. Yes, I will keep it and add a touring cruiser so my wife can ride to Clearwater Beach with me.

I heard they hold their value well providing they are properly maintained. I agree with adding a cruiser it is a bit uncomfortable for my girlfriend, and harder on my wrists with a passenger but I love the bike!

Lol, no negative thought taken. When I am out riding that’s my escape to the world and all the stress the day hands us. So you’re right I’m probably even more chill when I’m on my bike. Glad to hear you’re starting off on a ninja, you’ll love it and riding is life changing. Have to let me know what year and color you get! I already started a new video to kick this season off but have to get some better weather to finish it, but hoping to post much more this year. I started a riding group in my area last year that occupied lot my time but I have friends helping me this year. Should be able to get back on track again with the channel. The only time I have noticed my brakes locking up was my back brake. And it happened because someone just stopped right in front of me no signals although I was riding a little to close tbh. And it kinda just feels like your sliding with no control but I didn't drop my bike when it happened either saved it. But all in all the brake locking only happens when aggresive braking is taken in I mostly use engine braking with a combination of the front and back brake. Good video though man keep up the good work and I also feel the same I own a 2021 Ninja 400 and I feel the power I have I am getting more and more used to but I also feel as if I would miss my bike if I went up to a 600. So Ill probably keep my 400 and if I want another bike just go get another and keep the 400 aswell just for options because you can ride the hell out of the 400 more than you can a 600 or 1000.

Hello Evan, thanks for watching! I paid just around 5 grand for mine with 1000 miles on it. If you go used the nice thing is when most people buy them they put the fender eliminators on them and also upgrade the exhaust so you can save on those as well. Check your FB market places and see if you can score a deal! Winter may be a good time to snag one that someone is looking to sell.

Official Kawasaki Website and most dealerships here in Ohio sell 400s for well under $6,000. I'm just curious as to where the $8,500 stated in your comment below is coming from. Thanks in advance, great machine! Edit: Yes, I'm referring to 2022 model
@twowheeladventures3273 жыл бұрын
Here the bikes say 6k and under also, but on the new bikes, a lot of additional fees get added on one being an uncrating charge which put the bike well over my budget. It sounds like it's a common cost with dealerships and I was just unaware of it.

How are you guys getting your licenses when all the Basic Riding Courses are always full everywhere? Doing the test at the DMV means buying a bike first which you cannot register without a license and which you can't really practice on because if you get caught, it's game over. I just don't know how to go about that. Any suggestions?
@twowheeladventures3273 жыл бұрын
Are you from WI? I'm not sure if the law is the same in other states, but here you can get a learner's permit. The permit has restrictions allowing you to ride during the day, with no passengers. Once you're comfortable you can take the road test. The riders course is a good place to start for learning safety.
@DaveSimkus3 жыл бұрын
@@twowheeladventures327 I'm in Illinois. It says I can get a permit but I need to always be "supervised" by someone with a motorcycle license. Do people really follow that rule? I'm not going to be doing anything stupid and I'll practice where there aren't any other cars. I've also ridden by friends motorcycle many years ago so I know the basics of getting going, I just need to practice.
@twowheeladventures3273 жыл бұрын
@@DaveSimkus I'd call you're local DMV and inquire about getting a motorcycle permit. You'll need to start there and get the materials to study for the permit test. Confirm that direct supervision is required, at all hours. Supervision in WI is required during the night hours of riding or on the freeways.
@cosmicgrim79633 жыл бұрын
@@DaveSimkus yea that's the issue with motorcycles, the laws differ dramatically from state to state when getting your license. Some states you can just show up, do the course and get the license if you pass
