Hi. Thanks for watching. The rear shock supports the weight of the bike so you need to lift the bike independently of the rear swingarm in order to be able to remove the shock. So that wouldn't work unfortunately...

Hey, is it possible to remove the spring from the strut ? I was hoping do so to give it a fresh coat of paint.
