Nice review. We're actually starting to see quite a few of these little bikes (300 and smaller) here in Texas. Surprising, considering that most sportbikers start with an R1 or Hayabusa here. LOL.

@SeeItWithSimon9 жыл бұрын
That stock pipe looks just like the one I put in the bin tonight ;) Think I've mentioned it before Jimmy but there's something up with your audio - high pitch noise throughout. That lead rider needs to learn better lines in corners, especially at 1:57 where he enters the death zone and then every corner after that enters the corners tight and not wide. I'd buy this if I had to get a LAMS bike again
@Slipprymongoose9 жыл бұрын
***** can't notice anything maybe its just on your end. Was worried about my own ride rather than that guy
@SeeItWithSimon9 жыл бұрын
***** Oh yeah I would've been enjoying the ride too. Just that I noticed him a lot while watching :) I am surprised no one else mentions the high pitched audio sound. It's def not at my end only - I hear it on all devices and it's only there when your camera footage is showing and not during intro, outro etc.
@migadadon29 жыл бұрын
I also hear it, you can clearly hear it at 4:57 as you turn off the engine.

The ninja 300 is definitely the best Lams bike out there imo, love the look of the z class bikes so the z300 would be pretty darn sweet for a learner, especially if it's cheaper than the ninja. You're right about changing the pipe though, stock exhaust looks terrible!!
@Slipprymongoose9 жыл бұрын
I rode an er6L and that was high up there too. Yeah I would be happy chucking the mrs on this bike when she learns to ride

I've never been on an er6L, might have to check it out. Yep my gf is learning to ride the ninja 300. I started teaching her on a kymco 125 & it was really slow going but on the ninja 300 she's smashing it. Amazing what a good bike can do for a learner.

Went to the Kawasaki Dealership at Gepps X and they wouldn't let a learner ride their bikes because of "insurance reasons" what a load of rubbish. Yet, when Bills was closer to the city, they were all happy with learners test riding a bike for learners lol. Now that Honda has moved next to Kawasaki, is their range still stocked up pretty good? I suppose i could go for a trip down the road myself lol
@Deverz7 жыл бұрын
b Rootles I ended up going to the Honda dealer at St Mary's. The one at gepps wanted to charge me $1300 extra for the same bike and tried telling me it was a good deal and wouldn't listen when I tried to get them to do the same deal at the others

I don't understand their thinking putting a slipper clutch on to a 300cc bike?? It is a nice little bike, that would be great for getting around town and as a city commuter so is there really a need for a slipper clutch?? I do like how they have kept it basically the same as the other bikes for ease of mod placement. Nice to see another option for the learning riders or those that want a smaller bike. Stay safe out there Mate!!

Im a new rider... just want to know the difference between the z300 and the ninja 300? Not sure which one to buy.
@Slipprymongoose9 жыл бұрын
masterrk7 the ninja 300 has fairings and clip on handlebars, it is more inline with a supersport riding positron. The Z300 has no fairings and traditional handlebars with an upright seating position. It is really a personal choice on what you buy but my advise is to ride both bikes back to back and that way you can work out which one suits you the best for what you want your bike to do. Hope this helps man good luck.

Slippers probly just looks suspicious. I test rode a Gixxer 7fiddy from a dealership just around the corner from there & they let me do whatever I wanted. I came back 45 minutes later. That same dealership let a mate of mine take a Busa away overnight. But most times I've test ridden bikes from Teammoto which is affiliated with the same dealership in this video they have automatically given me a babysitter to ride with.

Seriuously guys, I have owned this machine and I regreted it every day.. The sound it makes, Jesus Christ it sounded like a lawn mower. It's too small and it looks like rather childish. I would definitely recommend you to buy the Z800e instead, which you may use with the A2 restrictions in Europe. I have gotten rid of this and will be buying my Z800e in a week.
@Slipprymongoose8 жыл бұрын
In Australia you are restricted to a bike less than 650cc and/or less than 150kw/tonne for the first year of riding (in Qld at least, the laws in other states have changed) for a first bike to get you riding and learn the skills it's good enough
@motorpolitan88848 жыл бұрын
+NewMC Basically you wanted an inline 4 big bike, then why did you get a Z300? These bikes are for people who don't need to be loud and obnoxious, don't need to go 200 km/h and they want good gas mileage. If you can afford bigger bikes, why the hell do you buy smaller bikes?
@drakath7268 жыл бұрын
you cant really compare a Z300 to a Z800e tho.. theres a huge difference between them and they offer different characteristics to suit different riders.
