2 important tip, its easier to just take the exhaust off and then push it out from the inside, and if you consider putting it in and out again, take a file and file down a bit of the outer layer of the db killer. It then gets a bit thinner and you can put it in/out much easier. Good luck :)

Do you have to do an ECU flash for this since you upgraded the headers? I want a full system so bad but i dont know how bad performance suffers without a tune/ re-flash

Yes a tune is needed! Bike wil run better and without a tune the motor can be damaged

You didn’t have to drill into the end cap right? Just undo the one bolt and pull it out with the method you showed?

Fredrik Rosén little force is enough for unscrewing. Knock off the weld is not necessary but if you like to ... goodluck!

@@flippin4502 same problem, somehow some db-killers of those SC1-R exhausts are welded.

@@flippin4502 I could by drilling a hole in the carbon end-cap or removing the carbon end-cap. However I chose not to do that, because the hole would be on the top side of the end-cap.. I might do it in the future

Ik merk tog wanneer ik een db killer berwijder dat zo’n motor compressie verliest.. hij gaat tog echt minder vlot vooruit

Ja ik wou de demper ook niet meehebben maar met een beetje geduld en kracht komt ie wel. Had er veel gezien met een knijptang maar dan vind ik deze manier wel sneller en veiliger naar schade toe😀
