Having a hard time getting the return spring on the break side to actually trigger the sensor & activate the break light. Seems like there’s just not enough tension but I have mine pulled way further than your spring looks. Did you run into any issues here with that?

Wait, I don't understand. At 15:21, the bolt on the aftermarket rearset looks like it can fit into the sleeve/tube of the OEM quickshifter. So why can't you go ahead with that? Is it because you want to use the OEM rearset bolt instead? And how is that a problem that you need to get the bore coupling to fix the problem? It's not clearly shown.

The reason it doesn't work is the there on OEM rest is left thread type and the the Quick shifter is right thread. The part comes with Right thread connector at rear set, giving you both sides right thread. the provided rode is one side right thread and the other left thread. This will not work as both side will be right thread. I assume this is why he used the coupler.

I had a question, for the solution for the shifter, did you use another separate 6mm stud bolt? Since there is no bolt on the oem shifter.

having same issue with vortex adjustable rear sets, doesn't work with quickshifter. where did you get the coupling clamp??

Take your brake reservoir and mount it under you passenger seat area. Then go to auto zone (or whatever is in your area) and get a new brake hose. It really cleans up the look.

Did the coupling clamp work out? I just installed mine with some blue loctite. Just little nervous about it coming off due to vibrations from riding. Any feed back! Cheers man video helped a ton!
