Great review. very accurate. But they missed a bit..... having the comfort & room + R1 performance makes it TEH BEST!

I bought one of the E1 models new many years ago. The bike was so good that I am now (in 2018) going to get another one, and with good examples out there at the time of writing for less than 3k it must be be of the best bargains going...

I've just picked up another in sept, 20k miles one owner with history but had stood a while, took a month to sort it all properly, clean out the carbs and new float needles all due to lack of use, paid 1100 quid and its like a new bike, spent 150 on it to sort it out, its gleaming. Theres also another Brit rider on here got one at the same time for 800 with only 3k miles on it, he's busy stripping and rebuilding over winter but I couldn't wait.

At 0:22 he mentions that it was first introduced 2 years ago... Actually that's wrong. The ZX9R was first introduced in 1993 to take on the very first Honda CBR 900 Fireblade. So it's been around alot longer than the two years he thinks ...

K Laffin.. First off, it's difficult to find one in good shape. And secondly, I have four motorcycles already, three Kawasaki's and one Honda Helix scooter.

I have this exact bike a very mint unit I just picked up and will be fitting the 2003 braced swingarm to it! I am also trying to figure out what is required to fit Gilles Tooling Vario bars from the 03 to the 02 which has a different fairing stay bracket

I just bought a 2000 E1 (this model), a great condition blue and purple that looks amazing. Soon I'm going to be fitting a bracket from the F models to remove the 'H' bar and make it look more modern. I'll do a few other little bits to it too over time. I've heard the 2004-05 ZX10r swingarm and front end can be fitted (upside down forks etc). My bike was sat unused for almost seven years and recommissioned and cleaned up over the past couple years, loving it so far.
