A relaxed ride home with my blue 2004 Kawasaki ZZR600. Top speed was around 140km/h. Recorded with GoPro HD Hero2 mounted on a tank.

dude you drive too close to the vehicle in front of you, if the car or any other vehicle stops suddenly then you are a gonner. Drive safe my friend and keep a safe distance.

Underrated bike. I have owned about 7 of these and now l have a 1998 E6 model custom painted in white with white wheels and black/green decals and the dials have been changed from black to white with green LED back-lighting and exhausts have been chopped down a bit. Fuck what these Millennial reviewers say, these bikes still kick ass and never fail to put a smile on your face when overtaking the Audi/BMW cager tossers.

I would very quickly get pissed off with that key fob dancing about in front of me like that but..good ride!... Nice to see a rider that isn't addicted to speed and thrashes his bike just because you can. Not too fast and slowing down for populated areas showing good anticipation. Again, Good ride! (But I would lose the key fob! :-))

Thanks! I don't like to push the limits on public roads, but rather enjoy every trip and hope to do so for many years. Sure the keychain gets annoying, but it saved my ass when my keys fell into a lake, with spares sitting at home 800km away :)

i was thinking how good it was and id like one, figuring it wd be more easy to grab from your pocket with gloves on.

when I found this video I was looking at a zzr400 (unfortunately i got outbid) a bandit 600 and a zzr600 this video sold me the bike and im so glad it did because its so fun to ride, the power is definitely there if you want it and its really comfortable
@pablosearth5 жыл бұрын
Bought one Yesterday. That seat's not very comfortable after an hour! Great bike though although she did break down on me after 150 miles. It may well have ran out of fuel though? Looked lots in the tank but I'm not sure how high the feeder pipe is.

this video explains why motorbikes are awesome.i must admit that the zzr has always been my dream bike,but never having any money,no way i could ever afford one.i did sit on one at my local kawasaki dealer back in the early 90's and it was just as great as i thought it would be (even though i got sneered at by someone riding past on their zzr 1100 with their girlfriend on the back.i hope i can now try and save up for one at 39 (have seen a few for sale for under £1000 so could be possible with a lot of self control (on the money front ;-)

Just got back onto a motorcycle (I am 50) after a 23 year break; my then bike was a GPZ 550 1983 model, my now bike bought 2 weeks ago is a 1995 ZZR600, with 32k miles on the clock, bought for £700 , the thing is a missile and wants to go fast, but my god, what fun, and what a waste of twenty odd years away. Loving every second wet or dry.
@davependragon18 жыл бұрын
I have put 5000 miles on it since purchase, still loving it.

how are you finding it, comfort-wise?
@kwakkers686 жыл бұрын
They're supposed to be very comfortable - particularly compared to the 'pocket rockets' of today (I had an 11, not the 6, but presume similar in ergonomics)

Lovely ride, a friend's offered me one of these that needs a bit of work for so cheap, insurance is quite high for me because it'd be my first big bike. So tempting though =P
@CurmudgeonExtraordinaire4 жыл бұрын
As you get older, you'll find your insurance goes down quite a bit on motorcycles. Currently, I have full coverage on a 2006 Harley FLHPI and it is only $122 per year. When I added a sport bike and a trail bike to it previously, it was only around $225 per year for all 3 bikes, IIRC. I just did a quote to see what liability only insurance would cost me for just the sport bike for a new policy with Progressive Insurance. I used a fake name so that they wouldn't give me any discount for being an existing customer. It turned out that it was $79 per year. So, if you live long enough, it does get cheaper... :) I've been riding one type of motorcycle or another for over 45 years and the last motorcycle wreck I had was 37 years ago. It took a few broken bones / compound fractures, but I finally decided that every vehicle that is on the road is trying to intentionally kill me when I'm on a motorcycle and I drive accordingly.

I was just looking at one cool sample for 850 €. Is it worth it then? I have a Honda Blackbird, but I`d buy this one just for fun (and for the sake of being a 90s bike).

I really wish they still made them, I would have liked a 750 to 800 cc ZZR... I wonder if you could put a 750 engine into a 600 frame.

Hi sir. Thanks for posting. Can I ask you about the torque of this bike at around 80-90km/h (the speed limit where I live)? Is it reliable for a long trip? I can get one 1995 for a very good price. Any input is welcome. Tks and ride safe.

Same here. It's burgundy and with only 52000 miles on it. Original except for the Nexxus end can. It's a bullet but I'm considering selling it. Too many bikes, too little storage.
