Kawhi is an underrated facilitator. Just because he averaged low in assists in the regular season, people think kawhi doesn't know how to pass. But if you've been watching his game all throughout the season, he's been making great plays, drive and pass etc...this dude knows how to set up teammates. Big plays after big plays. @@808gabs It was really upsetting to see him get Zaza'ed. I really feel, strongly, that they would've beat the Warriors in that series. And seeing him leave that season was even worse. I thought LeBron was coming to team up with Kawhi in SA but we all know that wasn't going to happen. Wishful thinking, but if he did, that's a championship team. He's been in his prime for a while and he might be coming out of it in a couple years. Defensively, he's the best in the league, now. Offensively, he's always been getting better and better every year as his bag expands. This past year was especially fun to watch because his ISO game became almost unstoppable. Kawhi plays basketball the right way, in my opinion, on both sides of the floor. Seeing him injured is the absolute worst thing to witness, because you know if he's on the floor, his team has a chance.

I feel you, he was supposed to be the leader of our post Duncan era, we were set for another decade of dominance after Tim and now we’re a lottery team. You can’t always win and compete for a chip every single year, rebuilds are a part of the process, but Pop and the front office had a clear path they wanted to follow when they traded for Kawhi. Thanks KD for making some comments in 2014 and Kawhi quietly became a monster. A lot of the "superstars" are real bitter towards Kawhi. He's humble, he's quiet, he doesn't engage in the baby nonsense like others. Kawhi plays the game hard on both ends, works hard on his game, gets better, wins and keeps winning. Just shows some of the true colours of some that it rubs them the wrong way.

The source was a bit dubious but I read somewhere that in Sparta they believed in the concept of a deficiency or weakness that makes you great. Like the lisp or stutter or conversely anxiety that a great orator has to put in more work to overcome. Anyway I suppose it’s possible that if Kawhi hadn’t lost that speed and athleticism that he wouldn’t have developed his footwork and positioning and mid-range game as much as he has now had to do

Looking back, Kawhi REALLY filled out since those college days. The coaching staff say they have to kick him out of the gym or he'd just stay there all night, and I believe it. His body is so much stronger and more developed now, as is his game.

Can't wait for 17-18 season to kick off. I am dying to see the Spurs (KAWHI). He is like an adorable kid who everybody loves and wants to be around. Even though he is quiet, he doesn't have to say a lot. He's got that look that would steal your heart. I know his Mom and sisters are proud of him and look after him.
