Local tips: pour little bit of soy sauce & white pepper on the soft boil egg. Dip your kaya toast also into the egg. It’s wayyy nicer. At home u can toast the bread, spread with butter & kaya jam 😋

you can buy kaya jam at any groceries store. IMO, i like more Yeo's brand for kaya jam in a can.

9:32 You can order kaya toast and half boiled egg in any chinese coffee shop in KL. Add a bit of soya sauce and white pepper to the half boiled egg and mix. Dip the kaya toast into the egg and enjoy!

Where else can you have such delicious breakfast (Kaya Toast, Roti Canai, and Nasi Lemak) at such affordable prices? Rm16 that's like 3 Euros for 2 pax breakfast together with drinks! All you get is one Espresso and one Croissant for that price in Paris for breakfast!😅😊

You can make your own kaya toast. Just toast the bread in microwave or oven where you can control the crispiness of the bread. Then apply butter and kaya jam on the bread. You can buy kaya at the supermarket or bakery shops. In fact kaya jam is a good gift to give to relatives and friends. Because kaya can only be found in Malaysia and Singapore.....if im not miataken.

Next time you're in penang you can also check out few places with similar kopitiam breakfast that you don't need to queue. Toon leong coffee shop at transfer road and no 76 coffee stall at batu Lanchang food court in jelutong.
