I used to fish that inlet all the time in the kayak. Great spot for reds trout and flounder. I fished the islands and the holes out there. Been wanting to go and fish it soon in the yak. I’ve caught multiple black tips in there too. That’s a fun fight. Throw a mullet under a popping cork and try it out sometime 💥🎣

Hey, another great upload. Following your suggestion I went and fished on the little bridge under 206 bridge next to Genung a few weeks back. I was baiting sand flea on a half oz sheepshead jighead. But I got nothing, not even a bit :(, for that couple of hours before sunset. Wonder if it's timing/tiding or something. Any other recommended inshore spots you'd go for sheepshead? Again, sadly, kayak is not something wife signs up on...

Well the season is winding down. I know a lot of people catch them off the rocks on Rattle Snake Island at the Matanzas Inlet

Power pro for the line. Leader is either Andes mono or Offshore Angler precut flouro from Bass Pro
