Nice… ive been thinking of taking my yak to that area. I’ll do it before year is over. I’ve wondered about taking it out in the ocean. There arent that many vids of ocean kayak trips out front

The rules don’t allow for launching kayaks on the ocean side of the park. That’s why you’re not seeing any such videos.

Kayaking and fishing in these waters is not for me. I'm 75 and fished for years. I need room in my skiff for a cooler with goodies, 5 gal pail for live bait like killies, eels, etc and 2 fishing poles and that's if I go alone. With a friend a larger boat is needed. A 15 HP motor does the trick ! I loved fishing on the rock jetties in Long Branch before they were covered with sand!😢 Caugh some nice Stripers, Fluke and Blackfish !😂
