I only hang my fish for short time to bleed them. Sea lions are more of an issue than sharks. GWS are definitely out there and some people have Shark Shield.

@@MooMooOutdoors Hi Moo..it's like any new surfing spot posted on Utube..it changes forever .Now there are competitions at your spot and those 50 kayakers will bring more friends and it's no longer the cool little fishing spot. But that's the way it goes these days . Good fishing for now .

This is a nice set up... but it is almost too nice. Fish finder, radio, camera, $3500-$4000 kayak... I rigged up a Pamlico 120 my buddy gave me for about $200 all in, including a nice paddle. Not hatin man, but the fish just see a jig, they can't tell how nice the boat is 😄

I feel you. You got lucky on that Pamlico 120. That's over 1k yak. Pedal yak is a luxury in some ways but when it comes to trolling with a downrigger, it's a necessity. Thanks for watching. 😀👍
