White preach are invasive to SC. No limits or restrictions. Next trip to SC consider fishing Lake Wateree or Lake Monticello. Both have consistently produced some big cats. Love watching your videos.

I love to fish Santee-Cooper. Got to spend nearly a month there a few years ago. Had very limited access, only one pier in the community. It was still fun as I had it to myself most nights. My pb Blue came from there. 22#

We called that really stumpy area hog swamp. Big fish always go there when the. I’ve shallow. But ya find a lot of stumps there at the same time.

Love catfishing takes me back to when I was a kid, big water here in South Dakota Missouri river watersheds lake Oahe etc, everyone and brother Billy Walleye fishes but I have a 20 ft bass boat and get teased as to its to small when a busy breeze comes along ive seen rollers smash the dam that look like Ocean waves in December Surf in HY. Be careful stuff like that can kill an old man. But center channel runs 100 ft 150 ft deep the side rivers shallow up abit, in the Cheyenne river. would you fish channels like that? Or find the channels up further in and not so deep.

It's crazy to me being from Idaho that those are considered clear lakes. Probably why our catfish don't get very big, if you can't see 15 feet into the water here it's murky water
