I've been watching your channel for several month's now and I like every episode that you share. I live in Chattanooga, Tn. and I'm familiar with your fishing locations. As far as someone not liking the fact that you have gotten a free Kayak. That is there own jealous problem. You have certainly earned the status of being a great Kayak fisherman. What we see in your videos is only a small part of what you have to do, in order to get ready and out there on the water. Possibly the planning, getting up real early in the morning or going out in the evenings, still tired and having to launch your kayak in the dark, making sure that you haven't forgotten anything. There is a lot of preparation work for you, to making a video for us and then when you use your years of knowledge, and start catching nice size catch fish, that is a 100% tribute to only you. I seen those sellout comments and I wasn't surprised to see them and I boiled it down to just jealous folks. If you would've been an actual sellout you'd have never told about the motor crappin out, you'd of just pushed for sales. I enjoy your videos like alot of other folks do and you've actually saved me quite a bit of money. I greatly appreciate that fact and you being a fellow Tennessean has somewhat improved my fishing. I fish the Cumberland river, Center Hill, Dale Hollow, and Cordell Hull lakes instead of the Tennessee river but they ain't much difference. Thanks again for great videos

Excellent review...your candor is exactly what companies want from testers like yourself. They can find a million 'yes men' but there are few who understand the job is to be honest and candid. Never once were your comments negative but they were constructive critical comments where needed. It is tiring to watch YT review after review with people given free gear who will offer any critical comments thinking they won't still have any sponsorship from those companies. To hold back is doing a disservice to people watching to make our decisions. So thanks for your honestly....you provided me with a lot of useful detail I can use in maybe adding a 136.

After watching your videos we got one of these and installed it on out 20' pontoon this weekend. Used it yesterday for the first time and it was the best day fishing I have ever had and I didn't even catch a fish. This is definitely going to change things from here on out. I would love for you to do a video sometime on how you use your fish finder to navigate and stay on your ledges, break points, and main channels. I have looked into getting a new fish finder and there is just too much out there for what I would need.

The Buck Perry structure fishing book series would be a great resource for you. I learned a ton about how to read a contour map from those books. The Don Dickson KZbin channel also covers Buck’s teachings. His videos are long winded but he covers everything in the book series very thoroughly.

Nice Review. I always enjoyed being able to get away from the noise. If I had a piece of equipment beeping at me I wouldn't be a very happy camper. Buy a cheap kitchen sponge and cut it to fit down in your cup holder.

have one, paid out of my own pocket- HONEST AS YOU CAN GET FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATION-- regard to speed there is "oldtown" explanation out there that it is a direct result of hull design rather than lbs thrust of the motor and simply raising the thrust will not have much effect......... to which i say ; factory drop in adapter for 2.5- 4 hp outboard on the back ----- that will do it 😁

Native Ultimate 14.5 is a good quality, stable kayak. I fished out of one for several years. They can often be found used in the $500 range. Better to get a good quality used kayak than a brand new one from a big box store.

It seems crazy they would not utilize stronger tracks, most competitive kayaks do...anyone that is trolling, fishing for larger fish, or has a lot of equipment to mount will benefit. And it seems like the person that will buy this kayak is doing those things. I didn't know I had it so good with my Native as far as the quality of the components. The Auto Pilot is very tempting but I may wait for round 2.
