Kayaking to and camping on Shackleford Banks, NC

Kayaking from the Cape Lookout Visitor Center on Harkers Island to Shackleford Banks. Camped there two nights and kayaked back. We made a trip over to the lighthouse and ocean over on Cape Lookout as well.

If you have kayaks, I’d recommend kayaking over. If not, there’s a ferry that will take you there and also over to the light house. It’s beautiful. I hope you make it out there some day.

Just got back from Hammocks Beach, Bear Island today. Looking at Shackleford in near future. Good video, good music. Thanks for sharing that trip.

@@rvawolfpack Great 1st kayak/camping spot, 4 mile uninhabited, 14 campsites. Close Enough to Emerald Isle for cell service and to get help if needed. Will definately go back.
