@lyssaelena2299 I haven't done them for a long time because I got pregnant! Lol and now I have a newborn. I used long tips! If I remember correctly I used alcohol and buffed my nail and the fake nail then used the gel to apply them, and a nail drill on the bottoms by my cuticles and thar was all. But I did start having the lifting issue again after this:( I had even started using a dehydrater, and primer along with all of those steps! I do think not washing or using any lotion for a few hours before applying helps a ton, because it keeps your nails from being too "soft" I guess. I miss experimenting with them!

Just a tip! Try to never get gel products (even color polish)on your bare skin as much as possible. The continuous exposure of gel to your skin will make you develop allergies to the product(s).

Love your videos! I have those same Melody Susie UV gloves in hot pink. I'm pale as a ghost and don't mess around with skin safety, so I also put a dry-touch sunscreen with spf 50+ on my hands and let it soak in, and when I do my nail prep I just wipe down my nails to make sure there's no residue from the sunscreen 🙌🏻

I am not girly at all but I'm trying to be a little more feminine and I started doing my nails with just the press on ones and honey I feel so put together and cute and I'm starting to tan and I feel so much better. I've been told my hands look like man hands because I have scars all over them from working on my ranch and helping fix things 😂 so nails help me a lot with my confidence. I'm new so for now I'm going to stick with the press ons but I definitely will graduate to gel x and do everything you do. Please keep posting mail videos I love them just to watch 😂❤️

Hard gel is stronger but it’s not soak off friendly! So to anyone wanting a soak off friendly nail set hard gel isn’t the route to go. Overall I loved your video!! The design is so cute!! I came across your channel looking for designs lol. I have trouble doing designs on myself but you make it look so easy 🥹 I’ve been doing gelx on myself after being charged $100 for a regular polish acrylic set and I never went back. Please don't paint them first. It keeps the light from the lamp from fully curing the gel and you csn get a life-long allergy and damage your nails.

Sheesh I thought 40 bucks in Jersey was too much. But I've always been naturally drawn to arts and crafts which includes hair and nails and make up But yeah thank you 💯not everyone got 70$ jus layin around FOR TO GET UR NAILS DONE?! 😲, I GREW UP in iN the City...Philly. an hour drive n I could get a full set for 15 with 2 designs. But what I WASN'T paying for the nails I was putting the tank..... 💯💯💯 Started talking to friends and doin hair from dying to style for wedding parties...make up nails on with my own stuff. Found out I'm extremely good using those little tiny circle bottles of color for designs, I was great at designs... Then I got into nails.... Got pregnant n actually looked up my first nail video for the first time 8n months bc someone asked me if I do gel nails n I never heard of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so I did my research and it done changed from straight acrylics and tips, now they had powder dip, gel polish ( that was the only gel thing I heard of B4 watching that video 💯🤣🤣🤣) and polygel! GEL came out n took over the nail world!
