I have been waiting for 20 years for someone to make an improved version of the old Rocket Ultimate Steel 100. I killed more critters than the plague with that head and it was only 7/8 cutting diameter. Animals would walk off and fall over. This is the closest broadhead I have seen to that old head!! Great broadhead. I’m sure the large diameter of those half-outs is costing you some penetration (especially if you happen to shoot through bone). They stick out quite a bit beyond the head. Maybe you could do a quick comparison with insert that matches the head. Great videos, keep up the good work.
@LuskArcheryAdventures6 ай бұрын
Yeah, but it’s consistent in all my testing, so it doesn’t matter
@ryanmarino42305 ай бұрын
@@LuskArcheryAdventures I understand that. I watch most of your tests and noticed it right away. I just meant a comparison between insert diameters. You could use any head, but probably one of the better penetrating heads would be best for comparison.

Some states may not allow a15/16 ths head. I believe Canada allows 14/16ths of an inch. This has 3 blades though and the wound channel looks awsome, also the smaller diameter broadhead deer don't seem to know what hit them. The deer would take a couple of steps and fall over!!!

I am going to carry a few of these in my quiver, uncertain hats. When I get an angle of a quartering shot or something that demands deep penetration, this will be on the end of my arrow.
