I did this before, except it is so much more clutch. Before my factories we're done, Russia invaded. Kieven Rus was my ally and I was able to park my bombers at Kiev to constantly destroy their factories so they weren't able to get tanks. They still spammed really hard, but some scorching to kill tanks and tanks to kill infantry was very effective. My aircraft fleet was destroying theirs, and I was able to take moscow after the ran out of MP.
