@@smibnor7387 Nah tekken players will be confused when they see jigglypuff stay in the air for too long and they'll just give up. But for real Tekken neutral is super different from smash neutral, I really don't think they'll adapt super quickly. They'd probably laugh at our silly baby combo game but even that is very different than Tekken combos so while they'd probably pick it up a lot faster than anyone not experienced with fighting games I doubt it's gonna be especially fast. As for it applying to every traditional fighter, Guilty Gear players don't know how to play neutral so I don't think they stand a chance in smash.

idk I saw it as more of a crush-move reference. In Tekken certain moves have built in invincibility at the top or bottom of the character, meaning they're intentionally designed to "crush" low moves or high moves when you expect someone to use them. So wave-dash in this game is a high-crush because only your upper body is safe, and hellsweep being fully invincible just makes it so its not pointless in this game lmao idk

@@chaelmavik Idk I agree with Rix, cuz guys that already know the shotos will be adjusted to using a fighting game character with smash mechanics, and his inputs aren't difficult whatsoever compared to Tekken. So imo the only challenge he presents that will obviously just take time and experience is the memorization of his best punishes/combo set up moves and the combos themselves, cuz hes definitely got far more options than the shotos. And its not like every single one of those moves and combos are gonna be essential, just whatever few work best for the player, very much like Tekken.

This character has tough guy, super armour, auto turn around, a command grab and a comeback mechaninic, all things that make characters easier which can make matches seem unfair if 1 player has to put in way less effort. I really like that tekken in in smash, but like banjo or Steve, maybe it could have been done differently so everyone can have a little more fun.
