What a shame that this great band was so short lived. I'm just happy that I grew up listening to them in the 70's, what a privilege.

Steven Ball. I was sitting here thinking the same thing. 1973. QUEEN, 💋 KISS& MONTROSE. The great Ronnie Montrose. Man. Kiss & Queen take off & right when I headed toward H.S. in '77, Sammy is solo & is the RED ROCKER! 1foot on the pedal, 1foot on the ⛽ gas.

Montrose wasn't the American Led Zeppelin, Montrose was Montrose... Perhaps this comparison of the American media at the time with Led hindered the band's success. A shame, because they were wonderful 🎙️🎸🥁🎸... great band! (For those who are not familiar, in the early 70s Led Zeppelin's success was so great, especially in America, that every good band that emerged the American media wanted to compare, saying that this "new band was the American answer to Led" ).
