KBDFans x Vulcan Maja Mechanical Keyboard | Sound Test with Gazzew U4T Boba 68g Tactile Switches

Hey everyone! This is a quick sound test of the U4T Bobas in my KBDFans Maja 65% Arisu layout keyboard. U4T's are very quickly becoming one of my favourite switches with how sharp and responsive the tactility feels. I will be doing a more thorough review of the switches soon! Glad you're enjoying the Maja! The artisan keycap was a gift from my girlfriend. I believe it was an Etsy store that she picked it up from, but I don't know which one...

the u4t switches sound very similar to my gloriours pandas on maja

Yeah they definitely have a closer sound signature. I still think the Glorious Pandas are louder though, GPs are seriously some of the loudest tactiles I've encountered.

@@1700tt They are certainly not a quiet switch. Glorious Pandas are still louder in my testing. I'd say U4Ts are on par with a Zealio in terms of 'loudness'. Hope that helps!

how are the boba u4t’s? i was thinking about getting them but their muted sound is making me want them less

First impressions are excellent! Just as snappy and responsive as Zealios, but at a much more reasonable price point, and with a louder 'clack' (They're not that muted in my opinion). I'm going to do a full review of 'em hopefully later this month (Still working on the GMMK Pro review), but if you like super tactile switches, definitely pick some up.

any recommendations for similar switches? I have the silent bobas and really enjoyed them :)

Similar to U4Ts? The only ones that I've found to be comparable would be Zealios 67g, but I'm liking these ones more (not to mention they're also cheaper!). I'm normally a linear guy though so take what I say with a grain of salt :P
