Walkers is a very big brand over here in the UK, and Prawn Cocktail crisps are very common. They're one of my favourite flavours and I just bought a 6 pack of them before.

They're not Prawn flavoured. Prawn cocktail was a dish popular in the 80s. It was basically Prawns in a Marie Rose sauce, which is ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together. The crisps are the flavour of the sauce, not the prawns.

Worcester sauce is an ancient Roman recipe. There are all sorts of ingredients like anchovies and when first made tasted foul. The vat was left, fermented, and when tasted again was found to be wonderful.

The Vale of Evesham / Eve-shum is a pretty UK region S/W of Birmingham England. Worcester sauce , sounded as Wuster are one of my faves in the purple wrappers. Worc sauce is a runny version of a gloopier thicker brown sauce such as HP. Crisps are chips in the States, and UK chips are thicker fries. Walkers have the market share ,although there are supermarket own brands, and ironically Smiths used to be the leader, taken over by Walkers, with retro marketing as Smiths brand.

Skips were owned by Golden Wonder, which was a Japanese company operating in the UK. IIRC they are based on a popular Japanese snack. Nice videos btw.

The Skips are made from what's called tapioca. I think I'm spelling that right. It's basically a starch extracted from cassava. Also, Evesham is the name of a town here in the UK, it refers to the area around it.

I live in the UK and Prawn Cocktail have been my favourite flavour forever! If you can get hold of some 'Seabrookes' crisps as opposed to walkers, and try their prawn cocktail then you'll be in heaven! They're like Walkers on steroids! great vids mate. (BTW Worcester is pronounced 'wuster'). :)

in the uk the main crisp / chip flavors we get are salted, salt and vinegar, cheese and onion and prawn cocktail. we also get most of the other flavors but those are the ones you can find almost anywhere.
