she's definitely one of the best guests on this show... very respectful of the korean culture, speaks perfect korean and actually a very hardworking girl to afford her living expenses there ..she doesn't expect people to just give her "fair" treatment ... guests on this show often go there for fun and then spew shit on the people there when they don't ever work to better themselves first .. i'm rooting for her future !!

@@lasauce7580 yeah no she definitely has a strong accent haha I find it surprising when fellow french people don't seem to try to erase their accent because it really sounds like a mistake from a french ear but maybe some people just don't care or don't realise it !

Marine. "Oh la la" ! Bravo à toi, tu as beaucoup de volonté. I wish you the best. Fighting, Marine !

It happenes the same thing to me. I worked for a company for 6 months and they were all ready to sponsor me a VISA. But the immigration refused my application because I had only 1 year of working experience (with a Bachelor degree) and for the job I was doing I apparently needed 3 years of working experience. They always find a problem to send you back. I’m doing super good now because that same company hired me in Italy, my own country. And I don’t miss the working coulture in Korea.

After watching Marine's episode, she is so amazing and independent, hard working, smart, witty, talented, inspiring, strong and beautiful. She runs her life so good even at times of difficulties. She just took the Hardships and problems in life just the way how a strong beautiful human being should handled it and what inspired me from her story is that she didnt let the difficulties knock her down and the sun shines upon her in the end. I Love her

We also have this type of hardworking forigners in my country Romania and they always manage to integrate and get accepance because Romanian people like them. I mean everbody is bound to like or atlest understand people that work so hard in a forigner land.

Honestly this is what I expect any expat that comes at such stage in life to do, come prepared, do what you gotta do and not just let life go and complain if it doesn't go your way After all if it's your choice to go to the extent to go live on the other end of the world, you know what it carries But then again, I never even considered living so far away before seeing her reporting her travel on facebook and explaining her views so I'm really very inspired by her

It's pretty much the same in France for foreign people like myself. Getting a student visa is hard, but even after staying in the country for years, studying and doing internships and little jobs, transitioning to a working visa isn't a piece of cake. Long term immigration is still a new thing in Korea, but I'm pretty sure in a few years, when speaking Korean or "integrating into the culture" won't be viewed as special as nowadays, the visa conditions will be more difficult to achieve.. Hope all the best to Marine and all the foreigners especially coming from Africa, South America and other Asian countries who have to deal with these kind of issues wherever they go !

I appreciate how Marine has given a lot of effort to integrate with the local. Even I can relate myself to her anger in facing the immigration system loop. But I'd like to tell you something. The French immigration system treats foreigners much worse and often inhuman rather than the Korean's regardless their talents and/or skills they offer to the country and how much many they have paid for taxes and social contributions. As a foreigner having lived in France for almost 7 years now for my education and career, I am always treated like a pest in the immigration office. Some officers just have very rude attitude towards foreigners like they are uneducated civil servants.
