OMG I actually went to their restaurant in Guanajuato sometimes is just that you can look from the pictures thier style changed, I remember the couple were pretty know in the downtown for being a beautiful family and humble, and I was so sad that the restaurant was closed. But now I'm happy to see that they are still doing pretty well in Korea.

I met Isabel and Mingu when they have a Korean restaurant in Guanjuato; that was the BEST korean food I've ever eat, I went to that restaurant like 2 or 3 times at month for 3 or 4 years. They're soo nice, I really recommend "Ay Mamita", I bet it will be the best mexican food!!! Even SNSD's Taeyeon went to this restaurant. Please support to Mingu and Isabel

It's so nice of Hong Seok Cheon to go to their restaurant and teach them the tricks of catering to the Korean public. I've met so many chefs that refuse to help those who are starting off, and they tend to have a sense of superiority.

Love this family! I feel like she's so brave for suggesting to her husband to come to a country where she doesn't know the language. Also, brave enough to go about her day doing difficult adult stuff without her husband there to translate. She's got the drive and heart to make it work, and she's not afraid of hardships. It's good that Seok Cheon went to their restaurant to teach them about the Korean culture in restaurants and they took his advice to heart and made adjustments. I'm happy to see their restaurant doing well after the improvements made! Now I feel like going to Jeonju while in Korea for vacation just to try their 100 year old recipe!

Sometimes Hong Seok Cheon's comments can rub me the wrong way especially when it comes to the show's African guests. But even so, I cannot deny that he is really a good businessman. His advice to Isabel and Mingu is simple but very sensible and very helpful. It shows that he's not only a good chef and a good businessman but also a good marketing strategist. I really commend him going out of his way to help Isabel and Mingu make their restaurant more appealing to customers.

Giving food with your Neighbors is also a tradition in my Country. In Philippines we also do that especially if we will celebrate birthdays, holy week, fiesta/provincial festival, if you have newly open business, if you passed Bar/Board Examination and any other similar events. I also got shocked when I learned that Koreans do the same as well. I saw it in the Kdrama entitled Reply 1998.

Isabel es una mujer muy positiva y trabajadora. Le gusta la cultura coreana y por eso también quería que su hijo se familiarizara con las raíces de su padre. Creo que el marido debería haberla ayudado con el idioma desde el principio, además de enseñarle a su hijo al menos lo básico. Isabel es muy inteligente y tiene una actitud de superación que seguro aprenderá rápidamente a hablar coreano.
