Very attractive couple not only in the way they look, but the way they talk and communicate with each other. Have no problem with people than can speak and express themselves in many languages it's a gift and respect people that can do that. I embrace all people, all languages. Love the dog so darn cute. Reminds of the dog that was in Chicago Typewriter drama. Nice guy not afraid to get in touch with his softer side give his girl a mask. Also, admire people that are good at something that they're passionate about and able to do it for a living.

The reason I love English so much because even if you butcher the language pronounce it incorrectly, doesn't speak full sentences, you're still able to talk to ppl all over the world, Chinese, Korean, languages where the pronunciation has to be perfect at least to have a proper conversation, regardless I want to be fluent in all of them lol.

I speak 5 different languages. I am trying to comprehend what you meant by that. You can be grammarly broken when speaking in English and people will understand you. However, you still have to pronounce the words correctly in term of pronunciation. You can get by with broken English, but I don't think you can have a proper conversation. It is pretty much the same with any other languages.

I have watched several of these shows now and I noticed the wife doing the laundry and folding the husband clothes. When I was married 15+ years I did my own laundry and fold my own clothes I guess I didn't know that's how it was supposed to be lol. I did my own laundry, made my own lunch for work, clean up after myself which is good it taught me not to be dependent on others .

At the picnic, what pissed her off was the fact the Gihwan wasn't standing up for her. When that cocky know-it-all stranger student sitting across from them at the picnic table who was younger than them kept on hounding Lydia in a soju-drenched litany of Korean that he's in a predicament b/c he wants to talk to her yet doesn't know any English to do so, which is a crappy way of blaming someone else for his own deficiencies, Gihwan should've been mindful of where he stood in this unfruitful one-sided exchange and stood up for her by reminding him that it's his fault for not learning English and that he has no right to blame Lydia for it. But instead, he turned it around and decided to take the drunken student's side and says reproachfully to Lydia that his gist is that she should learn Korean quickly. Obviously, this is a put down and an insult as if she isn't doing enough or trying hard enough.

Divorce your partner. Korean alphabet is very easy to learn if your boyfriend had taught you. You speak many languages, but he doesn’t and he didn’t even translate for you. All the Korean ajuma treat you better than him. Dump him.

This is a really nice episode!!! But she needs to learn korean and quick. As somebody who can speak english and korean their relationship obviously has too many barriers because of the language. Both of their english skills' arent that good so lydia should improve their communication by learning korean and also improving her pronunciation so she can connect with him and sound cooler as she gets along with his friends too :)❤️love from an arab fan of mnc

It takes time honestly, I mean she hasn't been there for too long and I think she's doing great already. Korean can be hard for some people, but this girl seems very positive and very eager to learn new things, she even knows how to cook Korean food! I give her credit for that lol.

i don't think it is political biased but the program is more for those from totally different culture struggling to adjust into the Korean cultures. As you know, those Confucianism cultural oriented nations, China, Korea, Vietnam seem relatively easier to get accustomed to Korean culture compared to those from other continents.

Leopoldo Petrieska Honestly Chinese people are pretty common in Korea and pretty independent anyways since the culture almost resembles eachother unlike western and non-Asians in general where it's 180° different from food to looks, culture, education and definitely the language barrier has it's place as well. Not saying Chinese people don't struggle in Korea but I think they manage it more than Westerners who hasn't step foot in a Asian country.
