In all honesty, I was grateful that Donggook didn’t try to tell sian to “man up” and that “boys don’t cry” during this time. Loss is such a big thing when you’re a child (I would know from experience) so watching him just hug Sian and letting him cry it out made me feel so happy

Usually when Donggook would say that, it was because of a prank or something. I remember (when I kept up with the show), Donggook got a lot of flack for that, even though he was trying to teach his son not to let other people get to him and to be strong. With this it was different because it was a pure emotion of sadness that couldn't be controlled, and it was heartwarming to see Donggook comfort Sian so quickly. It just proves how great of a dad he is.

I have a dog that passed away before Christmas last year. He looks just like Kiyom and I missed him so much. Upon watching this video I can't help but cry remembering how I told my dog to stay strong that night in the hospital. The day later he died. I just missed him. My fur baby.
