I was a teen when this came out, sneaking into the discos! Everyone dressed so beautifully with our guys wearing bell bottoms, matching jackets and the ladies wearing silky gowns! It was MAGICAL! Everyone got along, we danced and partied together! Girls were protected, guys didn't fight or act silly. We all just jammed out to KC and The Sunshine Band plus all the other great groups!

The good ol' bell bottom days, (the best IMO) I was in high school when this song came out. KC And The Sunshine Band totally represented those days, in the way of their dance music, what would become known as disco. It's hard to sit still when they start groovin'! They have quite a line of hits, "Get Down Tonight" , "Boogie Shoes", "That's The Way I like It", "Keep It Comin' Love" and "Shake Your Bootie", were all hits of theirs, my favorite from them is "Boogie Shoes". Wow... you guys have found Disco music. This was all the rage in my day. The clothes we all wore was awesome 😂 Here's a couple more bands, if interested. "Sweet - Love is Like Oxygen - Disco 20.03.1973(Official)" and "Booker T& The MG's - Time is Tight (Live, 1970)" and "Kool & The Gang - Ladies' Night" my parents owned a skating rink and when I was in high school I worked as the Disc Jockey.
